I don't think you will have much luck online unless he is in the state
archives. We had a speaker at our genealogy society last fall and as of then
she said Oregon still was not releasing ANY adoption info until further
notice. You can try the Archives web site;

If you can find him there you can order copies for a price that is cheaper
than going to vital records. I don't think you would have any luck going to
the county unless their historical folks happened to have info.

My grandfather was born in Ashland, OR in 1936 and adopted.  I live in
California and was wondering how or where on the web I could find
information on his birth parents or family.  The only information I have
past his birth date is a possible surname of his mother and her age.  Where
should I look?
