Listers;

Here is one thing I wish to inform you about:

Dupuytren's contracture
        Many people find that as they age it becomes increasingly difficult to fully extend or stretch their fingers. In many cases, arthritis or some other joint disease may be to blame. But a condition in the palm of the hand may also cause the fingers to contract.

      Dupuytren's (pronounced du-pwe-trahns') contracture is a fairly common condition that occurs when the connective tissue (fascia) under the skin begins to thicken and shorten. As the tissue tightens, it may pull the fingers down towards the palm of the hand. In some individuals, the condition may progress until the involved fingers become disabled.

I have this condition. I could touch type up until a few years ago; I could even "bang" on a piano keyboard. No more. My piano and keyboards gather dust. But I can still hit these keys; one finger at a time.

It is too bad that the creep people are trying to distroy the internet. My ISP is now trapping ALL e-mail to *.cox.net subscribers that have virus attachments. I think I received several notices this week that said I would receive such messages "sans" the virus attachmrents. I've received none.

You may receive an e-mail from me or some one who is in your address book, with an attachment. If the attachment is an .exe or .com or .zip, DO NOT OPEN IT!!

Do not respond to spam in any way. Do not respod to undiliverable e-mail!!!!!!!

This is off topic, but very important.

Cecil
