A law was passed in OR several years ago which gives adoptees the right to obtain copies of their original Birth Certificate which would give the parents names.

  My grandfather was born in Ashland, OR in 1936 and adopted.  I live in California and was wondering how or where on the web I could find information on his birth parents or family.  The only information I have past his birth date is a possible surname of his mother and her age.  Where should I look?
