Verdena,
My cousin, Euleta, did all of her research the "old-fashioned" way, too. I will forever be in her debt for all of the information that she always shared so willingly. Tell Shirley that I remember Euleta talking about going to the reunions with her, and I look forward to hearing from her by email or snail mail or by phone.

Hi Barbara,
Yes Shirley is my sister-in-law. We will be going to see her on my husband's birthday next week. She has done a lot of genealogy research the "old-fashioned" way. Another sister-in-law recently set her up with a computer and Internet service but she is having some problems learning to use it. I am going to try to help her with it when I am there. I will certainly mention that I have heard from you. If we get the email working she may want to write to you.

Subject: [or-roots] Veelle Family
Verdena,
In going through some of the records that my cousin, Euleta Allison, had given me through the years, I found a reference to another cousin that accompanied her to family reunions in Warrenton on the Kindred family. The other cousin's name was Shirley Veelle. Any relation? If so, we have a lot of relatives in common.
Barbara Herring
P. S. I strongly recommend that everyone go back through their records periodically. It is amazing the little tidbits (and sometimes big ones) that one picks up that way.
