Hi Gary,
I'm excited to find you. We've long suspected there's quite a few Brewers in this area. If you send me your address off list I'll send you a CD I made. Last summer I scanned about 200 pages of various documents from Rachel Brewer daughter of John Fletcher Brewer. She made a hand written family genealogy in 1955 and considered it a gift to her family. There's also a letter from William Alexander Brewer and Margaret Isabelle (Scott) Brewer to one of their children (John F and Elvira I believe) that was delivered pony express. I don't have either of the items you are requesting, but you have piqued my curiosity. I haven't heard of either before now. I'd love to exchange family information. Where does the name Lainer come in?

Hi Gary,
I have about 70 Brewer family in my program. I have a Margaret Anna Brewer b. December 30, 1869 in Grand Mound, Washington Territory. She married John Harrison Clark and died after 1955. Her children were Laurence Grant Clark, Rachel Clark, Della Clark. Leonard Clark, Chester Clark, Virgil Clark and Harry Clark. Is this the family you are referring to?
Ronda
Hi Ronda
Yes, these are the right Brewers. Leonard Clark is my maternal grandfather.
2 things I am lookig for if you have any clues It would be most appreciated..
#1--A manuscript written by Champion B. Mann, dealing with the Brewers on the Oregon Trail and after they arrived. He was a druggist in Olympia WA,and was married to Evangeline St. Clair Brewer, daughter of William Alexander Brewer and Margret Isbelle Scott and sister of my g-g-grandfather John Fletcher Brewer.
#2--"Brewer Imigration from Arkansas to Oregon in 1853" from the Washington State Library 1956.(As told by older people from their memory of the trip)
I have info on BREWER,ALEXANDER,LAINER and AXTELL families(all related) that goes a way back.
Also I have some additions to the 1852 and 1853 imigrant rosters and have no idea of how to get them added.
Gary
