This doesn't totally match but I wonder.

"A Century of Coos and Curry" by Emil R. Petertson and Alfred Powers

Hanson, Charles E, b. Sweden, 1861, to Coos, 1880; worked in sawmills and
logging camps; settled on Haynes Inlet farm in early 1880's; livestock,
dairy, potatoes, apples; road supervisor; school board member; on same place
continuously 70 years; still enjoys a game of cribbage in his 90's.  Married
Annie E. Nelson 1883; children: Florence E., Algie.  Mrs. Hanson died about
1900.
