I have received a query from a lady who has a quilt that was made in the 
late 1880s.  It was reportedly made by the ladies of the company as they 
traveled to Oregon. The ladies all signed the quilt.  She is trying to 
pinpoint the year.  The names are difficult to read but appear to be as 
follows:

Ellen R. haldeman
M.E. Fletcher
Maggie Hill
Emma Liehty
Eve Liehty
M Saylor (could be taylor)
E.M. Showalter
Polly Smith
W.J.H. Bauman
