Walt - a person who is so organized and doesn't want anything but "the facts, ma'am" would tend to put the instructions received when joining the list into a file labeled "Subscriptions".  Thus they would know exactly what to do when us old foggies get them down.  Even when someone tells them where to find the instructions, they still can't seem to figure it out.
