I've been reading this site for quite awhile and it
seemed nteresting so decided to subscribe. Like the
stories and also the links to webpages. Picked the
wrong time to join I think. Don't like put-downs. Who
does? Humor at the expense of another is so
second-grade. If the cemetery story didn't mean to
ridicule the query then the last sentence wasn't
needed. So if it was all a mistake then why not a big
'Sorry' from the guy who wrote it so everybody can
return to tree climbing. If the cemetery story was
meant to be sarcastic, and that's the way it reads to
me, especially with the last sentence, then it had no
business on a site meant to help each other and
everyone jumping in to say that it is just good
hearted humor are like those second-graders that hang
around a bully egging him on.
Mark Twain said that sarcasm is the tool of the
inferior mind. Maybe that's historic enough to pay
attention to even if he wasn't an Oregonian.
Anyone know if there is an online searchable data base
of obituaries in the Salem area?
Aloha
