[or-roots] Genealogy or junk mail?

Aloha IS my name and I'm not a guy. Learned the hard
way a long time ago never put my full name or address
on a list or board. Basic rule of Internet safety. 
Main route for identity theft and unwanted spam, even
snail mail.  Use my full name for e-mail off list
only.

Genealogy is where sharing and kindness of strangers
has been the rule forever. Many of my friends are made
that way but when a request is made online for help
and the answer makes fun of that request, is is NOT
friendly and helpful and it is NOT funny. My opinion.

No stone throwing intended just observation and
comment but seems like this list may not welcome
diverging opinion so I'll bow out and leave you all to
it. Too bad.
