barb:  thanks.  didn't know if there was anyonelse or not.  as it looks now, i won't be moving till the middle of july.  i have to get up there and look at homes.  i have a real estate agent who knows exactly what i want and is sending me paperwork and pics.  i have a sister who lives in 3 rivers and she just recently got married again, after her husband died one and one half years ago.  so i won't be totally alone.  the summers up there are usually good to great and i know the winters will not be like here.   thanks again for the heads up.
