For local and obituary research in Lane County, here are two possibilities. I 
know that both of these charge a small fee for the service.

Go to the Oregon Genealogical Society's website and read about their research 
service: http://www.rootsweb.com/~orlncogs/ogsinfo.htm

Or here is an individual who regularly does newspaper research at the UO. You 
can email him for his fees for this service. GToftdahl at aol.com
