We had a loose cannon in our genealogy who did a wonderful job on the early family, but when it
came to my grandfather and some of his generation, really messed up. And his stuff is all over the
net, and has probably gotten into FTM records since they bought one of the sites. Some of the errors
were probably caused by inaccurate census ID and use of nick names by several individuals.
It was interesting since two unrelated men of the same surname were in Bayview, one F.C. and the other J. C. F.C.
owned the cannery, and J. C. had in interest in it. Both used the nickname CAL - one, but which one, was the
fiddle player listed in "The Land That Kept Its Promise"?

Hi Glen,
Last part of last week, I posted information, I had found at: www.gencircles.com and was immediately put down, and that person said I was: a copier / not a researcher...from that site....really hurt my feelings..I had other, not so nice comments,
from others too. I want no trouble. I have put my: Armor on, like Cecil suggested and I am stronger now to handle other members comments [I think] ha ha..
I like that site [gencircles]and have a lot of my family on it. But sorry to say, I was hurt, because even the person who was searching for there family, said there is errors on that site and others like it.
All I tried to do was help. Don't want to mention names, as I want no more trouble back for my opinion.. So beware, ha ha Nancy
