[or-roots] Wild tales from Ann's great Uncle

I was told by an old man who grew up in the rural midwest that there was a 
lot of admiration and support for the James gang amongst the rural population.  
He said that quite a number of babies were given the first name Jesse and the 
middle name James because of this.

Wonder if this is statistically true?!
