[or-roots] Wild tales from Ann's great Uncle

As I said when I wrote it,  tall tales vs what is true...the LDS records, census records, etc. what is considered "proof positive" verses hand-me-down stories.  "That Great Uncle" was just an example


I did have 2 GG grandfathers that did serve as young men in the war.  I have both pension files.  Both are buried in Nehalem.  Both were born in Indiana. Both served for the North.  One family (Mom's) came from Virginia, the other (Dad's) from Hallwangen, Kingdom of Wurttemburg. Now Germany.
