Is there any records as to who and when people were buried there prior to 1949.  It is my understanding that this is the year the management of this cemetery change from the Powell Grove Cemetery Association to Multnomah County.

  Powell Grove Cemetery was originally named Central Grove Cemetery.  It 
  is on the David Powell and the Central Grove Cemetery Association was 
  founded in 1869.  In 1922 most of the stock was sold to members of the 
  Powell family and was reorganized as Powell Gove Cemetery Association 
  and Corporation papers were filed in Salem March 17, 1922.
