Do you know what the name of the website is? He supposedly came in 1843
with a Capt Applegate. I believe he settled in Wasco County and sometime
later maybe Umatilla County.

Penny, Capt Applegate led a party in 1853 but I didn't see anyone on the
list by that name. Maybe Applegate led other parties. Stephenie Flora has a
website with lists of Oregon Trail Immigrants. Patty

Has anyone heard of Robert Arthur that came from Jackson County, Missouri
and traveled at the age of 14 with a Capt. Applegate to Oregon? He married
a Foster girl.
