like a pleasant place!).

McClane, Sam'l, age 48, Head of Household, Farmer, born in Kentucky
Josephene A., age 34, Wife, Keeping House, born in Mo.
Frances, age 13, Daughter, At School, born in Oregon
George W., age 10, Son, At School, born in Oregon
Orren D., age 6, Son, At School, born in Oregon
Cora B., age 2, Daughter, At Home, born in Oregon
BERRY, Francis, Age 87, Father-in-law, Farmer, born in Tenn.
Permellia (sp?), Age 75, Mother-in-law, Keeping House, born in Kentucky.

I see other Fox Valley entries under the McLane name for other dates.
Here's a hint...with this name, check under alternate spellings such as 
McClain,
MacLane, etc.  In this search, Samuel pops up as "Saul" because the census 
taker wrote his name "Sam'l".  I've run into this Samuel into Saul before and so 
ran the search just on a hunch.  I don't think census-takers were given 
spelling tests before they were hired!
