I would like to point out that if you could give us some time element info
we could probably help you out more, if you are looking for a living
individual there are some search engines online that you could pay a fee to
use that might track him down. If you could fill in some blanks, especially
what time frame you are talking about I can do a little more digging. But
if, as I suspect, you are talking recent history; ie. you are less than
fifty years old, you will just about have to do the most obvious stuff your
self, as any records less than fifty years old will not be open to anyone
but family.

So let us know, meanwhile here are some things to look at that probably
aren't relevant.

I find no entries in Oregon State Archives online index for either
Candelaria or Alice Lujan, there is one 1978 naturalization for;

Aparcio-Lujan, Ruben 03-07-1978 Naturalization/Petition Jackson County

But am confident it is irrelevant to your needs.

I did find a query on Genealogy.com, unfortunately it is by you.

will take you to a page about a Fred Candelaria who was a prof at U of O in
the '60's.

Hmmm . . . this "probably" isn't from one of your relatives, but there is a
lichen called; Candelaria concolor

I find a Gary Candelaria who was at Oregon State University in the '70's at
the same time I was, a couple years behind me.

I also found a Yar Candelaria in the 1920 Census who seems to be a Basque
sheepherder.
