[or-roots] Delayed email

Cecil and all;

I received a batch of mail from you folks that looked familiar a few days
ago, when I checked my archive, sure enough, I had received the same mail
three or four days previously.

It was in the middle of a batch of new posts and isn't the first time this
has happened to me so the delays you mention may just be some kind of
systemic thing.

Usually when I post a letter I am not leaving immediately and I always try
to clean my inbox before I disconnect, since the puter presys links me to is
in Eugene I often can see my post in mere minutes, yet sometimes it won't
show up til next morning even though I clear my inbox an hour or two later.
I always chalk that up to Or-roots maintenance or whatever, but maybe there
is a gremlin in their system that just likes to play with the heads of
"folks that notice" ???
