Doug,
I know the scene. Yet where we live we would like to be able to divide our ten acres for our two boys. And although we have the largest acreage around here that I am aware of, we must have 80 acres for each residence. That means 160 if both boys were to have a house. What do the developers have that we don't-perhaps $$$$?

Us kids use to be able to earn some money in the summer. Hard work but sometimes fun also. Berry picking and bean picking provided most of my school clothes for me. No designer jeans BTW.

  Verdena:

At the time I bought this house (1969) there were truck farms all around me. Not any more! The only one remaining grows strawberries year round. Where we used to buy tomatoes: Ticky Tacky, K-Mart, IHOPand more Ticky Tacky. Where they grew celery: Ticky Tacky.

Yes, Doug lived in Aurora for several years. The history of that community is quite interesting.

  Canby? Never heard of it.

  Cecil
