Bob;

On 5/9 at 4:48 pm I show a message from you with the lead, Ya, I know I
forgot . . . and a MSWorks (well, that's what it comes up as on my puter)
file named Dyes of Oregon and contianing text Titled;

THE DYES OF OREGON
a/o 5/9/04(424 Years)

Since then I have recieved nothing with attachments, but obviously it isn't
true that attachments can't be sent through the list, I believe it is the
intent of list Mom and the powers that be that we DON'T send attachments,
however from time to time many of us have violated that rule, I have six
emails passed through the list with attachments in my current unarchived
email folder running back to the day after boxing day last year. That isn't
necesarrily (sp?) representative though as I often archive enclosures
before I dump the email in that folder, as the archive process loses
attachments.

My guess is that there may be a correlation between passed attachments and
that strange phenomenon that shows up in my inbox occasionally with the
attachments that aren't really, but are just the email repeated in a notepad
file that somehow get added in the ether somewhere.

Three or four days ago I sent a message to all of you, that contained 4
attachments. it appears it was stopped by the postmaster but I'm not sure.
His message was that my message was too long. Did anyone get it? I can
break it up and send two or three e-mails. let me know.
