Everytime the power goes out here my wife reminnds me that I hadn't planned
on putting a wood stove in when we were planning to move to town. "I told
you so!"

We have 2 wood stoves in our house in addition to central heating.  We also
live in an area that seems to always get the electricity knocked out at any
little wind storm.  The wood stove back up has been worthwhile for us to
keep.
