Thank you all for the suggestions; I am grateful for
any possible leads, ideas, hints etc.

I am pretty certain of the Nebraska connection,
although they were rooted in Oregon, the family, or
parts thereof, did head to Nebraska at some point. The
majority of them went back to Oregon, or so I have
heard in what little family info I am able to get on
this side. My grandmother, Hazel Jane (Miller) Cornell
stayed in Nebraska and passed away there in 1974. I
believe one of her older brothers stayed too, all I
have on him is the nickname "Babe" Miller. I have her
parents, mr gr-gran and gr-grand George Washington
Miller and Bertha Jerina (Larson) Miller in Ordnance
around 1947. No birth date or location on George, yet
anyway. Or birth location for my gramma Hazel. It's a
challenge! (but that is part of the fun!)

I will definitely explore the options y'all have
recommended. I really appreciate your taking the time
to help, and have enjoyed the banter on this list,
regardless of what the "naysayers" comment on.

Feel free to contact me off-list if you can think of
anything else that might help.

Thanks again,

Melanie Munson
