While I appreciate that Washington has gone to the trouble of making this
available, I am not impressed, one the site seems to me to more of a teaser
to entice you to buy the complete record.
The other problem is the online records are far from complete, of most of my
12 Lockwoods, 14 Llewellyn's and two Melvins that went to Washington and
mostly died there (as far as I know) between 1880 and 1920 or so I found not
one trace. There are lots of folks with those surnames, just not MY people.
Still, it is worth a check.

For those of you whose ancestors came or went a little north -- Washington
state has just put a WONDERFUL site online. All sorts of records have been
digitalized and are available at a click:
www.digitalarchives.wa.gov
Enjoy!
