OK.  The following is direct from Corabelle McLane's birth Certificate
Corabelle McLane married Prince William Goodman b 1874 OR d. 1934 OR
Corabelle McLane b. June 6, 1878 near Lyons OR. d. abt 1947 in Oregon
   Father Samuel Mark McLane  b. KY abt 1832 d. abt 1859 
   m. Josephine Amanda Barry  (Berry?)  b. 15 May 1846 in MO.
      Children: Frances b. 1867 OR
                 George W b  1870 OR.
                  Owen  D. b  1874 OR                           
                  Corabelle b. 1878 OR
In digging back in my notes I also found:  Samuel McLane b abt 1800!  Looks l found my GGF and will continue to dig.

I can understand the problems. Your grandfather was born about 1832 and died about 1859. But his wife was born in 1856. They had children born in 1807, 1870, 1874 and 1878. Suggest you review these dates. Something is amiss.
