Coos County book stores also have the Orville Dodge book - Pioneer History of Coos and Curry Counties. There is also a book on the history of the Coquille Valley which is good if you have ancestors in that area.

We have two book stores in North Bend - Books by the Bay (541-756-1251) in the old Wells Fargo/First Interstate Bank Building on 101 and House of Books (541-756-3222) on Meade Street (about 2 blocks off of 101).

Both book stores should have the books. We have several used book stores but the reprints are probably cheaper.

Thanks, that's good to know. Do they also have reprints of Pioneer History of Coos and Curry?

Book stores in Coos County have reprints of Emil Peterson's book for about $20 - $30.

      http://www.oldimprints.com/books/am7_2.htm

Did a search and this website indicates there is a copy available for $60.
