Beth;
I'm not sure this is the right Haynesville?
According to the USGS it is 4 km (about 2.4 miles) south east of a place
called Lorella in Klamath County.

should take you to a map image showing that name on the map, the streams in
that area are a little confusing, it is kind of between Cambell and Nail
springs. It is on a branch of North Canal (???) and in Langell Valley. It is
about 32 miles east south east of Klamath Falls as near as I can figure it.

Subject: [or-roots] Haynesville, Oregon
Hello all,
I'm transcribing an autograph book that belonged to my great-grandmother,
who lived mostly in the Umatilla and Union counties area from the mid-1860s
through the late 1890s. The inscriptions are usually headed with the date
and place written, and several of them say Haynesville, Oregon. I can't
find this name in MacArthur's Oregon Geographic Place Names or by Googling
it. Does anyone know where it was?
Thanks for any help,
Beth
