  Homer Godfrey, Head, Male, White, age 25, Married, b Iowa, both parents born Iowa, Laborer
  Bessie, Wife, Female, white, age 21, married, b Iowa, father b Indiana, mother born Iowa
  Lavere, son, Male, white, age 3, single, b. Iowa,both parents b Iowa

  According to Ancestry.com he was still in this same county in the 1930 census.  Also according to Ancestry.com in 1900 census he was in Richland, Guthrie County, Iowa.  I didn't look at actual census.
