Sue,
Loleta is my gmother Sybil. In 1915 she was the Rose Parade Queen in Portland. So far most of my information has begun from family names listed in newspaper coverage of the Rose Parade that year. One interesting cousin of hers was Delmer (Del) Baker who pllayed baseball and became coach in 1914-1916 for the Detroit Tigers.
I had no idea that my ggparents were born in Calif. I'll follow up on that .
Thanks, Char

Possibly your Ida, there were several IDA BAKERS but none of the others seemed to fit, they had different spouses names, etc.
  Name: Ida Baker

Copies of death certificates more than 50 years old are available from the State Archives.

Can someone tell me about this cemetery and how to find it.
I am trying to find any information re: Ida Ohler born in Kentucky and married to Henry Richmond Baker in Oregon. Ida had 3 daughters 1)Sybil, 2) Esther,3) Louise. I'd like to find the death certificate for Ida. She is listed as living in Portland in 1920 census (widow-head of household) living with daughter Louise Baker and daughter Esther Hamlin/son-in-law Melrose Hamlin.

Sybil married Mark J. Renne and had a son Marc J. Jr. in 1919. She was married to Samuel Bamber when she died in New Jersey in 1953.

Louise married a Lennox and had a daughter "Danny" could be Dannielle. Louise lived in L.A., Calif. and died in 1967. I'm looking for an obit for Louise and I'd like to find her daughter "Danny" info but I have no married name for her.

I have found very little on Esther Baker Hamlin (death obit)

Henry's family left Sherwood and moved to Portland where he was a barber when he died in 1919.
Any help filling in the blanks is appreciated.
