Thank you for your reply.  It doesn't look like we're talking about the same Flora Bruer as my Flora was the second wife of Mark Bruer and I don't know what her maiden name was.  I believe they married later in life and did not have any children together.

My husband is distantly related to a Flora Brewer.  Our Flora was born in 1904 and was married to Phillip Pierce.  Her parents were Fred and Gertrude Brewer.

I am trying to locate a copy of the obituary for Flora A. Bruer who died 21 May 1960, in Clackamus County, Oregon.  I do not know the town of her death as my information comes from Ancestry.com; the Oregon Death Index, 1903-98.
 
Any information would be appreciated.
