  I really appreciate the fact that you are pursuing this a little further.  Here's some additional information on the Bruer family I am researching. Maybe it will help.

  Mark Bruer was born in either Wisconsin or Minnesonta.
  Carrie or Caroline E. was born in Minnesota
  Mark Bruer married Carrie or Caroline E. (Heath or Mickenhen).  Their children are: 
   Hallie Bruer (male) b. about 1904 in Oregon
   Lewie H. Bruer (male) b. about 1907 in Sodaville, Oregon
   Thelma (aka 'Babe') Bruer b. about 1910 in Oregon.  Married Mr. Myers.

  Mark and Carrie divorced 31 Dec 1915 in Marion County, Oregon
  Mark married Flora A. .... no children.

  Other family names:
  Jack Bruer
  Rosalee Bruer
  Mildred Bruer 
  Jimmy Bruer 
  Betty Jane Myers (dau. of Thelma Bruer)

    Hi Renaye,
    My Father-in-law was from a Brewer family in Clackamas and Lane Counties.  There are quite a few Brewers around this area.  I contacted a Brewer researcher from a different line.  This is the Flora Brewer she has in her line.

    Flora Brewer born 1904, married Phillip Pierce about 1924.  She died in May 2000 in WA. I do not know if they had children.

    I just sent her an email to see if there are any other Floras in the family.  I'll let you know if I get any other information.

    Thank you for your reply.  It doesn't look like we're talking about the same Flora Bruer as my Flora was the second wife of Mark Bruer and I don't know what her maiden name was.  I believe they married later in life and did not have any children together.

      My husband is distantly related to a Flora Brewer.  Our Flora was born in 1904 and was married to Phillip Pierce.  Her parents were Fred and Gertrude Brewer.
