<sigh> I always like the auto shows and remember the cars I used to have and
fixed up over the years.
I don't own them any more, but I stopped with 1978 as far as upgrades and
I still have ours
I still have 1976 Toyota Chinook, 1978 Dodge 1/2 ton Sportsman van and 1975
Dodge 1 ton turtle top vacation van. Oh yea my Dau gave us a 1985 Buick
Park Ave too many elect gadgets.
I was thinking since a few years ago of collecting pictures of all the
cars I drove with a caption of what I did to them .
My very favorite car was a 1954 Olds convert - cherried, black hand
rubbed laquer 12 coats, you could see deep in there, red tuck n roll seats,
2 tone top, black when up and red when down with a white pull over sun
protector, did this in my 20's it used to be nice to do such things, a
rebuild kits with all the parts was around $25 with chrome or cast rings.
Long time ago to think about. To expensive to reconsider any more.
I also lived on a farm and drove the equipment - also fun memories, and a
lot of work l;-)
