  My photo story takes a slightly different twist.  I wrote a distant cousin in Bend 20 years ago to ask some questions about that part of the family.  My father was not one to volunteer much regarding his checkered past.  She was very kind and forwarded a box of pictures to me.  One of them had a very special note on the back.  It said "This is your sister and here is her address"  We have had the good fortune of enjoying each others friendship and support for the past years that we would not have had I not written that letter.  Keep poking around.  You never know what you will find.
