The springs were south of Molalla, Oregon  I believe on Wilhoit Rd.
I can dig into this next week for you.

  According to Oregon Geographic Names by Lewis A. McArthur: Wilhoit, Clackamas County. John Wilhoit took up a land claim at the present location of Wilhoit post office about 1866. There were attractive mineral springs in the vicinity and Wilhoit took up the property on that account and operated a health and pleasure resort. The post office was established in 1882 and closed on September 29, 1928.
