[or-roots] Ware family (Eugene, Lane Co, Oregon)

Babe;

I checked with my Cottage Grove family genealogy connections she says the
Ware family we grew up with are from Michigan or Wisconsin, she doesn't
remember which, but it makes it pretty unlikely they are connected to your
family.

Looking in the phone book there are 17 Ware households in Lane County in the
Eugene Springfield area and north, not to mention about 8 or 10 listed from
Cottage Grove, Lorane and Drain who are I believe mostly the Mich/Wisc
folks.

Kinda funny because to the best of my knowledge I have never met anyone
besides the folks I grew up with that name.

  recent transplants, as I always thought they were kind of "hill folk" as

  Okies or some such, but maybe they just never adopted an "Oregon" accent.

  thought I was an Okie which I attributed to having been exposed to a lot

  them when growing up and always liking they way they talked.

  And Geo is back in Lane Co. in 1920 with wife Elizabeth age 62 b.

  this to my sis-in-law to see if she knows more about the Wares we do know
  there, but it looks like your folks may not be there.

  Robert seems to be in Midvale, Washington Co Idaho in 1920, but I have had
  no luck finding the rest, including your gram Effie, I find no Robbins in
  Idaho 1920 Census that even comes close to Jesse, no Ware close to Franke
  and James and didn't even try for the rest of the girs.

  I am looking for "Ware" family member who may still be in the Eugene, Lane
  County or Beaverton, Washington County area.

  George Ware, born 1856, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon and died 1929. Eugene,
  Lane County, Oregon.  He is buried in Indian Valley, Washington County,
  Idaho by his first wife Martha Jane Bailey.

  George was the father of seven children.  Mae Estella Ware Robbins was his
  sixth child.  In 1902, Mae married Jesse Greer Robbins in Washington
County
  Idaho.  jesse Greer Robbins was my grandmother Elsie Elizabeth Robbins
  Pickler's brother.  Jesse and Mae had two daughters, Zella Mae and Norma
  Louise.
