Hi - Columbian (note correct spelling) Optical was always in Portland when I 
grew up there in the '30's and 40's. I have been racking my brain trying to 
remember just where it was located but that was a good many years ago and my 75 
yr old brain just doesn't remember. Anyway, it is now located in Tigard:

Is there any one in the Portland area that may
recall the Columbia Optical Company of
Portland?  My Briggs line formed it and we
have traced up to 1930.  If anyone has any
thing later on this entiry, we would certainly
appreiciate being notified.
