Erick is looking in NORTH Bend on the Oregon Coast, not Bend in Central 
Oregon. He might try Coos Bay which runs into North Bend, or the other way around

There is also Redmond, Oregon, which is just 15 miles (maybe) north of Bend.

telephone directory and enter Peterson in North Bend, Oregon. That would 
give you all the Petersons that live in that area. You might find the
