Bob, great advice.  When I review records, I often find tidbits of small to major importance.  Things that did not make sense the first time all of a sudden take on new significance.  This is often the case with witnesses to documents.  It is never a waste of time to go back over what you already have.

I, once in a while, go back over my records, odds & ends, etc.  I just did so regarding my ggGrandfather, Joseph P. Goodman.  I new he had was born in IN , in 1819, and died in Umitilla OR in 1875 but I had missed the fact that he went to CA in 1850 (GOLD RUSH PERIOD) and returned to Missouri.  I didn't know that.!  I sure pays to take a break and go back over stuff.!
