[or-roots] this, that and the other thing

First a big loud three cheers for Cheryl for all the effort she put in on
behalf of Erick!
Then there is Bob's comment about going back over things. Amen! My biggest
problem is no matter how many times I go over it, I still find whole folders
full of information that never got assimilated; as in when I get real hot on
a lead and find lots of neat stuff such as old church records posted to the
internet or some such that have lots of my ancestors, so I frantically grab
and save these web pages with the idea of "entering it in my family file
later" and then don't have time to do so for a few weeks, which means of
course I forget I have it. I would bet I probably have at least twenty or
thirty ancestors or their in-laws hidden somewhere in my 'web pages saved'
directory or 'census' or 'census maybe' folders.
That last one is especially intriguing as there are a lot of people in there
that "look" like they could be relatives, but with names like John Brown who
knows?
I also was intrigued by the item from Nancy about the old photo album. I
know we have old albums lost from our family, that we would kill to get
back, but that wasn't one of them sadly. I wish Nancy luck and sure wish
somebody would claim one of the bibles I have.
