[or-roots] Pass Creek stories

I don't know what is going on, but apparently I am not receiving my 
or-roots mail.  I have had to go to the archives to find out that people 
received my Meier & Frank message and replied to it.  For example, 
Leslie Chapman writes that "You folks did so good on the missing 
needle. . . story. . ."      What?????     I didn't get any response at 
all except from one individual who wrote to me personally.   Now I find 
out in the archives that some of you did indeed answer my query.   Thank 
you for that, especially to Sue Steward who seems to have dredged up the 
same pieces of information that I did from the internet.  Please excuse 
me if I sound a bit addled on the subject but I am not getting the whole 
conversation.  I think I will try to un-subscribe and re-subscribe to 
see if the problem will clear up.
