[or-roots] Where are the McVays?

Sorry; I always forget that that little detail doesn't show up, those are
1880 Censuses. These are taken from the LDS Family Search index, so have to
be taken with a grain of salt, Harttey under JN is actually Hartley for
instance, but in this case the transcription is quite good which means the
images must be pretty fair.

It just registered with me as I was keying these folks in that John is
probably in California as that is where his first born is born. So I will
have to hammer away at the California McVays some more in the 1860 Census. I
never ceases to amaze me how many of my Crescent city Kin have spent time in
Oregon and then gone back, must be a pretty good place to live to leave
heavon on earth for it!
