Some of the main wagon trails west from the midland, began in the field out side the great Military
Base and prison in Kansas.  They ruts are still in the ground and some had markers in June of 
1953.

  Let me jump in here - there were quite a number of trains that came over the Oregon Trail in 1851. I did a search and came up with this one but haven't checked all of the names. Maybe it will help.

  To do the search I typed in Oregon Trail 1851 and came up with quite a few hits.
