Diane;

Looked to see if I could locate a Prince who was a photographer in Census,
three likelys in 1900, but none claiming to be a photographer, since only 13
Prince heads of household in 1900 I went ahead and checked the rest, none
claiming to be anything but farmers and such, one teamster too. There are
25 in 1910 Census, but nobody in Lakeview or Oswego and I was too lazy to
scan them all. Google came up null for a photographer named "h prince" too.

Interesting side note, for some reason a lot of folks in 1900 listed
themselves as "artist" I don't recall seeing that as profession in census
before and turned up a housewife in Salem who listed herself as artist and
three guys in one boarding house in Portland.

Does anyone know where H. Prince had his photography studio, or where he
took photographs? I have a copy of a photograph he took in about 1900. It
could have been taken in Lakeview, OR...or in Lake Oswego. Was Lake Oswego
in existence then?  Diane
