Babe, I see that you are seeking Curry surname information. I am highly interested in finding possible communication with
a Curry Family of Portland, OR : Anna Rae Curry was a registered nurse, but a patient at the Aldercrest San. for T.B. in
Snohomish, WA. circa 1945-46. She had a brother, whose name I did not know - a Curry surname.
Anna Rae DALE was m. to John DALE. Both Anna Rae and John Dale had been radiotelegraph operators for the FAA (pre-CAA) days up in Nome, Alaska.
While Anna Rae Dale had been a patient in Snohomish, WA at Aldercrest San. for T.B. her husb. John DALE was
assigned to FAA out at Midway Island in the Pacific Ocean west of the Hawaiian Islands.
I used to keep communications with John Dale via Ham Radio, or Amatleur Radio telegraphy, while Anna Rae, listened in on our communications. Then, Anna Rae's brother - a Curry surname - came to Snohomish and helped Anna Rae Dale to
achieve her Amateur Radio License, which she did successfully. Then, she was able to communicate by ham radio telegraphy
with her husband John while he was stationed at Midway Island.
In later years, say in the 50s or '60s I saw both Anna Rae DALE and John DALE at the University of Washington in Seattle and they both were getting their Doctorates to become M.D.s, but after that I lost track of them. I would relish knowing
anyone who might know of these people - possibly via CURRY FAMILY of Portland, OR or elsewhere.
It has been so many years that they may not be living, but nevertheless, I am highly interested in knowing of or being able to communicate with any members of the CURRY FAMILY who might know of Anna Rae (nee CURRY) and her husband
John Dale.
I love playing "clues" and this is my opportunity to "try my luck" which has paid well in the Past gen. experiences.
Thank you for anyone's help,
Carroll Clark, Snohomish, WA

I appreciate if you check if there is an Anson R. Curry (arrived in Union County, Oregon after 1889, Farmer) or a Lemon A. Pickler ( arrived in Portland, Oregon after the 1910, Civil Engineer) are listed in your book.
Thanks for your time!
