[or-roots] Terhune connections

Does anyone have any information on a Emma Lou AKA "Ellen" SPITTLER STEGMEIER whose second husband was a TERHUNE?  

Ellen was born in 1874 in either Elk City, Kansas or Jophlin, Jasper County, Missouri and she died in 1966.  Location unknown.  She married Stegmeier in 1894.  I have absolutely no information on Mr. Terhune.  

Ellen was the mother of Alva, Charles, Perry and Herman.  I think they were all Stegmeier.
