Thank you again everybody!
Teddie1938 and Ronda have sent me enough new information to keep me spinning
in circles for weeks, and THAT only if I can focus, so it will probably take
me months to assimilate it all. With the new info today and what the folks I
was thanking last night gets put together with all the rest of the stuff I
have collected I think I will have a much clearer picture of the Lavadore
clan and their connections with the Rondeus etc.
I am sure there is going to be more info I will be crying for before I am
done, but I am just overwhelmed!
Carla;
Yes this does still revolve around Susan McGinnis, and yes I know searching
for her requires knowing which Husband she has when you are searching for
her. The two biggest stumbling blocks on the Susan search for me at this
point are wondering where the heck she is in 1900 and figureing out who the
father of her Biglow son is. As near as I have been able to figure, given
the place of birth listed for his father, the father is someone who was not
in Oregon in 1880 or 1900, though maybe I am just recollecting wrong.
One specific question about Susan is whether Virgil was the only child by
Fred Campion, my neices have some info from someone, don't know who, that
Virgil had a step brother "Mutt" but no clue whether he(?) was Fred or Hers
etc. And now you give me another surname for her?? We can only hope that is
a bum steer. I just completed an autobiography written by Carol Burnett
which is devoted mostly to her relations with her half sister, Mother,
grandmother and to a lesser extent to her great Grandmother. I think I am
going to recommend my neice read it and see if she shouldn't pass it on to
her Mother, as Carol is able at the end of it all to forgive her mother and
grandmother and still love and respect them. I won't go into details but her
grandmother had six known "husbands" which Carole was never able to document
but four of and there were other paralles to what this whole search is all
about that sometimes amazed me.
I apologize to any and all of you who may be asked for more info from my
neices, as the volume of stuff I have already presented them is enough to
make it difficult to see everything, especially since I myself have lost
track of half of it and have even less of it actually in the family tree,
just checked her folder and it is now up to 210 megs of info with 190
folders and 1700 files, so maybe we can all be forgiven for losing track of
a thing of two.
Ronda;
I got the 1930 Census image twice with Joseph and Mary Lavadore and
son-in-law Joseph Rondeau, assuming Eva is dau rather than dau-in-law as she
is listed. also emails with subjects; Alice, May, Joseph,[;] Lisette 4\4
WallaWalla_tribe TA-WAS-AK-LIE [;] Joseph A Lavadore, but no other images.
I think judging by the fact that my puter never blinked over the image, you
can probably send bigger emails without trouble, as long as every thing else
is all right. Last night Verizon took a dump on me and I couldn't get any
mail out or in.
I really am going to try to lighten up folks, this IS Or-roots, not
LES-roots after all.
Thank you all again, I am sure you will hear more.
