Dan to be a member of SDOP you need to have an ancestor who came before  
Statehood you don't need much proof just send them the info and your ancestors  
name and $10.

 My family came out in 1843 so I qualified. They have an annual picnic  at 
Champoeg State Park  in July I usually go if I don't forget like last  year.
