Well I will put in my 2bits (make that 6 bits) in this interesting thrust and parry. I'm a retired Air Forece Meteorologist (Weather Man).  The first course a would be Meteorologist takes is "Thick Skin 101".  I've taken abuse from every level of service from lowly Airmen 1C to 3 Star Generals.  It ranged from any because the Pilot needed "Weather Time" and there wasn't a cloud within 1000 miles to angry becasue the rain wouldn't stop. 
What I'm saying is that I have no Scars or  Bruises.  I actually think I enjoy a little tough argument.  I'm getting along in years also but every one knows that I'm very even tempered--always cranky.
When people got on my back about the Weather I just Told Them that I was in Sales and that if they wanted to talk to Management they should go to Church.
I know there is not much point to the above but I just felt like tossing in my  6 bits worth.
My Lines are Goodman, Dye, Pryer, and McLane.  Iv'e pretty well got them sorted out.   The Goodmans of my line were in the Oregon Teritory as early as 1843.  I have DLCs on them. Also The Mclanes were in the OT in the early 1800s.  The Pryers were late to the the New World.
I have Certificates from the SDOP for Goodmans, & McLanes Also I certificates from the OGS for the Same.
