Copies of their death certificates would be available from Oregon State Archives.  That should list cause of death.  Obviously the Coroner's report should probably give you more information if you get that, looks like there are two separate case files for their individual reports.

  Gerald W. and Ellen W. Miles both died 27 September 1952.  One family source says they lived in Silverton in Marion county but the autopies were performed in Linn county.  Both of them were in their 30's and family legend has it that they died in a fire in their mobile home.  Some say it was not an accident.  I have requested the Coroner's report for them.  Any suggestions as to this couple would be appreciated.  Gerald's nick name was Buzz.  He was my first cousin once removed.  Again any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.  Jim Miles
